Friedreich Ataxia Support

Many support providers may not understand the specific needs of a person living with Friedreich Ataxia (FA). Our founder who is living with FA, continuously guides our organisation and actively advocates for individuals living with FA. If you have any queries and would like to get involved send us an email

Balance & Coordination

Individuals with FA will gradually develop symptoms of ataxia (loss of balance and coordination). Our Support Workers are specially trained to recognise when your balance may not be compromised.

Falls Prevention

Our support workers are aware of when and how falls are most likely to occur. This will prevent you from experiencing falls through environmental and device modifications delivered by our partners.

Bella, BeeyaCare's Founder

"I've always appreciated  support workers' eagerness and willingness to learn about FA. There is a gap however in providing personalised support to individuals living with FA. BeeyaCare brings extra education and support to allied health members and support workers."
